How did this happen?

Today we celebrate my gorgeous little girl’s 25th birthday. Right about now, 25 years ago, I was just barely recovering from 36 hours of labor. I had no idea what is meant to be responsible for a little human being, I just knew that the little thing I was holding in my arms was infinitely precious and I couldn’t imagine loving anything more. Smart, funny, determined, talented, and beautiful are just a few of the words I could use to describe what an amazing woman she has become. There are many more that exist beyond my poor writing skills.
